ReplyDeleteyes, i think ranch gates are ingrained in our culture here. started back in the cattle days, i suppose, when you needed a marker for the entrance to your large ranch when boundaries weren't that well known. and showing your brand or name was important, too. nowadays, anyone with a decent sized yard can have one and no one thinks it's odd.
