The SOLE purpose of this weekly series is
to help call attention to sites that I think many would find most
interesting—in one way or another. Just
to be clear, inclusion in this series is not necessarily meant as a
recommendation, and I have included sites that are rather disturbing to
me. The link below each image is to the
site itself, and each image is linked to the particular post from which it was
taken when applicable. Please, go see
for yourself. Oh, and as of August 10,
2012, I will be no longer including sites that have auto-play and word
verification engaged.

ReplyDeleteAs always, such great links you find!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear TWG!!! Alas, I keep telling Arylynda that she does not give me enough of an allowance to pay a lot of attention, and then she cuts it again. In fact, the last time I checked, I now owe her!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Julie!!! If you happen to pay a visit to OEBooks, I would appreciate you informing them that the comment I left about being included in this edition was not spam.
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry,
ReplyDeleteNot sure if ours was supposed to be included in a list of "disturbing" sites as most of our work is so whimsical but it seems you're trying to help bloggers here and that's what we're all about too!
Best~

Jerry, thanks very much for mentioning my blog! I hope people enjoy reading it. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Sharon!!! I sure hope your comment was meant to be cheek-in-cheek (so to speak). For I would find it rather disturbing if someone could assume that I could consider every site included in this series as being rather disturbing. Whoa, that made me dizzy. (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Peter!!! Your site certainly appears to be a great resource for those interested in researching their Dutch ancestry, as well as learning about everyday life in Holland. I was informed in no uncertain terms by my dad that Beuterbaugh is Dutch--certainly not German. Considering what he went through on D-Day and until the end of WWII with the American First Infantry Division, it is understandable that he would want to make that clear.
ReplyDeletepicking up the threads sounds like a fun blog
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Oh my, I have done went and made it worse--haven't I? (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteOf His Pastures sounds like my first stop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Sandie!!! Watch out for squirrels lying in wait! (LOL?)
