A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  3. I feel a theme, with the last three blogs that are forcing me to share this. I received a letter from the White House yesterday, in response to my letter 5 months ago, (over Newtown shootings) the President signed just his name, on White House letter head, embossed pressed seal, did I mention it was 2 pages? So yeah regardless of left or right, evil or good, it was refreshing to have yet in my hand proof, that if we give forth to something, you will get a return for your effort! That's priceless.

  7. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! That is wonderful! Hey, I somehow managed to get on the president's campaign staff's list, and I have received dozens of personal emails from him, Michelle, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and several other really important people for quite a while now! (LOL?)
