This is a weekly
series that will include a brief summary of the latest articles that have been
published on The Tribulation Times Herald-Exhorter. Hopefully, this will encourage you to go
check out some truly outstanding articles that have been published by a number
of truly outstanding authors. Moreover,
I hope this will also encourage you to want to become a contributing
member/author, as well. The “Hear Ye! Hear Ye!” site explanation near the top of
the side-bar should answer many of your questions. Yes, this series also included an “SOS! (Spam
On Saturdays)” segment before, but it
just wasn’t working for me. Therefore,
that will be replaced by a republishing of one of the Trib articles.
[Come Away With Me] contains a video and the lyrics for Norah Jones’ Come Away With
Me.
[ESPN Additions] offers an alternative to local sports radio programs.
[WhiteHeart Wednesday] has a video and the lyrics for Everyday.
Amazing Grace
“Traditional Lyrics”
Amazing Grace
How sweet
The sound
That saved
A wretch
Like me
I once
Was lost
But now
Am found
Was blind
But now
I see
T'was Grace
That taught
My heart
To fear
And Grace
My fears
Relieved
How precious did
That Grace appear
The hour
I first believed
Through many
Dangers
Toils
And snares
We have
Already
Come
T'was Grace
That brought
Us safe
Thus far
And Grace
Will lead
Us home
The Lord
Has promised
Good
To me
His Word
My hope
Secures
He will
My shield
And portion be
As long
As life
Endures
When we've
Been here
Ten thousand
Years
Bright shining
As
The sun
We've no
Less days
To sing
God's praise
Than when
We've first
Begun
Amazing Grace
How sweet
The sound
That saved
A wretch
Like me
I once
Was lost
But now
Am found
Was blind
But now
I see

I am an Elvis junkie! Yes, to the point that when I was touring Graceland- I swear that he was in an upstairs window watching us all! LOL Well, you just never know right! Nora Jones is one of my favorites as well....I do enjoy your little droppings of songs and artists and silly stuff- and even some of the ugly or bad stuff! Stay cool- enjoy your weekend and don't eat turkey every single day (like my hubby seems to think one must do until the last piece of turkey is GONE!) :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jerry.... A little birdie told me that TODAY is your birthday!!!!! SO--I'm just stopping by to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.... Hope you have an incredible day.
ReplyDeleteBetsy
Thanks for stopping by here, my dear Karen!!! Please forgive me. For I have never been all that much of a Elvis fan, but I certainly recognize what a great singer he was--especially in regards to Southern Gospel!
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much, my dear Betsy!!! Yep, I be 55 today, and feelin' every moment of it! (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteA very enjoyable post Jerry and thank you for all the links. I also wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOoooo, just read Betsy's comment and I want to wish you A Very Happy Birthday too :)

Dr Sonia
The second one was at least musical!
ReplyDeleteWho's the weird guy in the first one....?
Thank you so very much, my dear Denise!!! It looks like your your wonderful "An English Girl Rambles" is scheduled to be seen again next Sunday (12/02/12). I'll let you know when it is up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Be assured that I greatly appreciate all of Duke's efforts to be nice to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much, my dear Dr. Sonya!!! One would do well to be rather cautious around Ann and Duke. For they are well-known as rabble-rousers in certain circles. (LOL?)
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of rabble-rousers, thanks for stopping by, my dear Adullamite!!!
ReplyDeleteWell how did I miss this? My husband's favorite song is "Amazing Grace" even pre-dating his meeting me. Love when Elvis sings gospel. The ring tone on my cell phone is a bagpipe version of "Amazing Grace" (my husbands phone rings to the tune of "Scotland Forever" - we kinda like bagpipes (And did you know bagpipes were first mentioned in pre-Roman and Roman times?)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, oh dear - I just read all the comments - HAppy Belated Birthday, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Grace!!! No, I didn't know that bagpipes had been around since then. Thanks for the info, and thank you for the birthday wishes!
