Littermates, Bi-Petuals and Kidney Failure

[Littermates] is a new page added to SiteHoundSniffs.com, which can be accessed through the link on the left of the footer.  Contained on it is a message about the dream being to eventually attract advertisers and share 90% of the revenue with those who have allowed their site header(s) to be displayed and that they are considered to be littermates by Grayson.  It also addresses that we have decided to invite into the litter those without sites, who will say something (preferably good) here and there throughout cyberspace about SiteHoundSniffs.com and the great sites listed in the directory.  To be clear, they will receive an equal share of the advertising revenue (if there ever is any) and I posted about it on [my Facebook page].  Be assured that it was made clear that we do not want any spamming going on.

Speaking of spamming, I was attacked again by a cranky old man, who considers my requests for someone to give permission to display their header on SiteHoundSniffs left in a comment on their site to be spam.  Oh no, he did not do so directly.  He left a comment after mine informing the site owner that he had already ran me off from his site.  I then replied directly to him about there being a difference between an unsolicited ad and a sincere request made for the benefit of all involved.  He did not respond, and the owner of the site deleted all of our comments.  No, she has not given permission via email, either.  In order to avoid this very unpleasant situation in the future, I will endeavor to make the requests via email when an address can be found.

I also ran into some trouble after releasing an earlier version of that new video ad.  For the owner of one of the co-starring sites took exception to the wording and that I had not received prior permission to include her site.  Not only did she want the ad pulled, she wanted her site completely removed from SiteHoundSniffs.  So I had to produce the current version (and replace the old one with it on YouTube, Facebook and Google+) and remove her site from the directory.  I understand where she is coming from, but I certainly do not agree with it.  For in my mind, no one publishes a blog or website without wanting people to see what they have to offer, and they should want all of the free promotion they can get.  Yeah, it would be wrong for me to use their property in a bad way, but is it really so wrong that some love both dogs and cats?  Now, I consider even a public Facebook page or something like it different, but it utterly baffles me when I run across someone who acts like I am some sort of Peeping Tom Provocateur for daring to offer my help with others finding their site.  Therefore, I will endeavor to obtain prior permission for also including a site in future video ads, and I was given a way to do so.  For videos can be uploaded to SiteHoundSniffs, and I will keep the page private until it looks like the coast is clear by sending a link to it to the owners and asking for them to grant permission in a timely manner (within two weeks) before I go ahead and unleash the beast upon cyberspace.  [Video Ads] contains links to all of the SiteHoundSniffs video ads in order of release, and it can be accessed through the link next to Littermates on the Footer.

Before I move on to a more personal matter, Littermates contains the HTML codes for the new SiteHoundSniffs.com badge (in three sizes) that site owners can add to their sidebars.  Be assured that it does not include a tracking code.  In fact, there is no way for SiteHoundSniffs to affect a listed site other than to help attract more traffic to it.  Grayson has made me learn some new stuff about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and being listed on SiteHoundSniffs is most definitely NOT a bad backlink.  To save you the trip over, the badges and their corresponding codea are as follows:

In any event, my primary care doctor thinks that I may not be around much longer to bother people, anyway.  For the last two blood tests show that my kidneys are failing.  It is not to the point of requiring dialysis to remain alive yet, but that does not matter.  For I ain’t doing dialysis because of how extremely difficult it would be for me to have to go to the hospital 1-2 times a week.  Even though I do have a much, much, much better place to go after my time as a part of this world comes to an end, be assured that I really do not have what would be considered to be a death-wish in the eyes of this world—certainly not to the point of me doing things to hasten my own physical demise.  For suicide is absolutely not allowed for anyone in their right-mind, and refusing to reasonably care for one’s health is suicide.  Of course, it all comes down to what is reasonable, and an ethical ping-pong match for the ages could be waged upon establishing a correct definition in our sight.  Quite honestly, I do not believe that the blood tests were done correctly, and even if the results are accurate, our Heavenly Father can easily fix what is wrong if He wants me to remain incarcerated in this prison of world for a while longer.  Be assured that Arlynda fully understands, and she even asked a doctor if it would be a painful death, He said that a person would simply go to sleep, fall into a coma and quickly expire without being hooked up to a life-support machine.  No, it cannot go that easily for me.  Sigh.

P.S.: A tornado passed over the top of the house last night.  I am not aware of any serious damage being done, but our neighborhood lost electricity for around three hours.  The lights came back on at 1:45 a.m. (Central) and despite despising the management, we are most blessed with utility workers willing to go above and beyond to serve the public.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Grace!!! Be assured that the worst part would be not being able to help Arlynda, who is one step away from disaster with every step she tries to make.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Martin!!! I certainly hope so. Of course, in comparison to your situation, I am the picture of good physical health. What did we do to upset Him so? (LOL?)

  5. Whoa, tough break on the diagnosis; it is helpful to see you keeping it all in the perspective of His Celestial Kingdom though.
On my site (which also often works to help promote bloggers) I have run into much the same sort of difficulties with certain folks that think you are trying to sign them up for the French Foreign Legion. I suppose some people realize society is made up of other human beings and others are convinced they are the only humans among us. Grace and Peace my Brother!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Masodo!!! Alas, I just got through removing another listed site from the directory. I hope she will at least be gracious-enough to tell me why. I wonder if it had anything to do with celebrating people loving both dogs and cats? I should send Gabby to have a little talk with her. He more screams than talks, but...

  6. Saying a prayer for your health.

I have to say you are way beyond me in your understanding of how the linking/blogging/internet stuff works. Kudos to you for figuring it out!

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Tanna!!! Be assured that I greatly appreciate the encouragement. In some ways, what I have learned about the web is not as complicated as one would think. For a code is simply a set of instructions for the browser, server and personal computer/smart phone to follow. Oh, but there is other stuff...

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear SHadow!!! I understand. Methinks you would feel very differently if you were having to live in our nightmare, which is not at all to diminish the horrors of your own. It is said that the truth is relative, which is absolutely not true, but I have learned that pain and suffering is relative. For what would crush some, others can easily brush-off. It all depends upon what our Heavenly Father wants to accomplish in and through someone, and one of my callings is to be as forthright about myself as He will allow and enable me to be.

  9. If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate it if you took a look at Emily’s Virtual Rocket. This is a serious newsblog which has been taken from e-newspapers and e-magazines from around the world, with an emphasis on transgender issues. Also, with his election, I look for articles which critique Donald Trump.

I hope you enjoy this. Please paste the following:

  10. Hi Jerry,
I have tried to leave a comment on your blog before and it would not come up. Hope it does this time. My prayers are for you to be healed completely by our Father God, in Jesus' name. I have had a miraculous healing years ago through the prayer of faith, and other healings. I am in a test at the moment too, but I definitely know that all things are possible with God.
God bless you and your family Jerry.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Brenda!!! I am so sorry you had trouble leaving a comment before. I have no idea what went wrong, and I sure hope it does not happen again.

Yes, I know, which goes far beyond merely believing, that there is nothing impossible for our Heavenly Father to do. It all depends upon what He wants to accomplish in and through a person, and in this particular case for me, He is giving me first-hand experience with just how bad our healthcare system really is (at least in and around Springfield, Missouri in the middle of the United States). Now, this is not to say that everyone associated in the medical field around here is bad. For I have meet and heard of many very dedicated and capable from nursing aides to highly-specialized doctors, but the system is absolutely awful--both in regards to corruption and incompetence. This is especially magnified with me now having to deal with what is available to the very poor (monetarily). My current doctor finally did something about my supposedly failing kidneys by telling me earlier this week to stop taking three of my medications--three months after the failure was supposedly imminent! I go see him and have blood drawn again on April 6th, and we will see how things appear to be then.

    2. It is very similar here in the UK Jerry, although I know that there are people in the medical profession who do their very best. My husband has been on statins for a long time after suffering a minor stroke. I looked up the side effects of the statins he was on a couple of years ago and they were horrific - he was experiencing many of them. He went to the doctor and told him this, asking if he could be put on another statin. The doctor changed it. When I looked up the side effects of the new ones they were worse than the previous ones. I believe many of the tablets my husband has been put on cause him a lot of problems, but he is afraid to come off them because they say he has to stay on them for life. A great example of what fear can do.
Always remember Jerry that God can do what man can not do.

    3. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Brenda!!! Whoa, I recoiled when I read that your husband's doctor told him that he would have to be on statins for the rest of his life. For I understand that they are for controlling cholesterol levels, and I would think that some dietary changes could result in there no longer being a need for taking anymore medications after a certain point. Of course, if he is like me, he is more about quality of life than quantity (at least in this world) and quality of life is greatly diminished when one cannot enjoy eating their favorite foods. (LOL?)

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Jenny!!! Well, I am actually deeply ashamed of myself. For I am terrified of having to suffer so for much longer in this world. For it goes to prove that I naturally am a gutless wonder. After all, physical death is easy while enduring to the very end is hard.
