A Sunday Drive

Back during our childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them again, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  2. Hallo Jerry, how are you? Sunday treating you well I hope. And that your recovery is steady and ongoing? Greetings from a hot sunny (too early) Summer's afternoon in South Africa, Jazz on the speakers and a sparkling blue pool with cool bodies in it *smiles*

    1. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Shadow!!! My recovery is progressing well. For I can now take the trash can out to the curb, and my eyesight is also improving. In fact, I am having to use our computer in the living room because of the monitor for our main computer died, and trying to write anything with this computer would have been nearly impossible a few weeks ago. However, it is still very hard. So, I will not be doing too much extra online until the new monitor is ready to go. oh yeah, I hope you get a nasty sunburn. (LOL?)

  3. I like the idea of a "Sunday Drive" although I don't remember us taking one except to the beach. You have chosen some posts with increrdible photography.

    1. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Connie!!! A great many of our Sunday drives were around Table Rock Lake in the Shell Knob and Eagle Rock areas. I am not sure just where you are located, but we are now living in Springfield.
