Saturday Morning Cartoons (+)

No, it is not that I am in the midst of experiencing a second or third childhood.  For it is arguable that I have never really grown up because of my march toward maturity being interrupted by some episodes of arrested development along the way.  So, instead of thinking that this series is meant as a wistful look back upon a simpler time, think of it as being a rather simplistic mind remaining in a moment for an extended period of time.  In any event, I hope you find it enjoyable.

  1. Oh the memories! Personally, the mouse I loved best was Mighty Mouse. I wonder how Speedy (like the Frito Bandito) would hold up in today's socially sensitive conscience?

  2. Remy, my black and white cat is sitting here watching this and he's cheering for his doppelganger!

  11. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lizzy!!! Alas, I suppose I really am becoming old and cranky. For the cartoons of today seldom make me laugh.

By the way, I do not know what happened with the comment I tried to leave on one of your articles. It was an attempt to see if you had word verification engaged so that I could include your site in a future Sites To See here.

I do know that you have your site set up to where someone cannot make a copy of one of your images, and that prevents me from including it. Sorry.
