Come Monday...Wabbit Huntin'

“Come Monday…” is a weekly series that will involve a review of, or commentary about,  websites, movies, documentaries, television shows, sports, music, and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time.  Be assured that these reviews will be generally positive, as in accordance to the Jimmy Buffett song “Come Monday.”  This is subject to change, however.  In fact, I would be most derelict in my duties to neglect going on a rant every once in a while.  For rants promote change, and change can be good—right?  Therefore, since good is generally considered as being a positive force in 99.3% of the parallel universes that I am aware of, even a rant could be considered as being something positive, and a genuine hissy-fit would be even better (so I’m told).

Well, the Easter Bunny didn’t show up at our house again this year. We (our puppies, kitties and me) watched for him all day. In fact, the vigil began at midnight, and nary a chocolate-covered egg was to be found anywhere.

Therefore, as of 12:00:00.001 Central Daylight Savings Time, wabbit season has started. Be assured that there is not a hole deep enough to escape our wrath.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. For wabbits can be downright rascally at times.

I am prepared, however. For I have been learning from the mistakes made by others, and I have included a few of my training materials below.

  3. I hate to laugh at your plight but I'm afraid I just can't help myself. I do feel partially responsible for the wabbit not showing up at your house since there appears to be one here that was headed that way but he needs to have arms surgically attached to him. In other words, he's getting there :)

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! I had some thoughts about you maybe having something to do with it, but I didn't want to believe it.

Please tell Duke that I'll be paying more heed to his advice in the future. For if I had taken him more seriously, we wouldn't have wasted the whole day with our noses pressed against the window.

  8. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Adullamite!!! The next time a roadrunner upsets me, I'll be looking for some pointers from Wile E. Coyote. On second thought, some of his tactics might work well with huntin' wabbits...
