Pink Floyd vs. Korn

Another Brick In The Wall, Parts 1,2,3
Pink Floyd
Daddy’s flown across the ocean
Leavin’ just a memory
A snapshot in the family album
Daddy what else did you leave for me
Daddy what’d’ja leave behind for me

All in all it was
Just a brick in the wall
All in all it was
All just bricks in the wall

You
Yes you
Stand still laddie

When
When
When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers
Who would hurt the children
Anyway they could
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
Exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

But in
But in
But in the town it was well known
That when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives

We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher
Leave them kids alone

Hey
Teacher
Leave them kids alone

All in all it’s just a
‘Nother brick in the wall
All in all you’re just a
‘Nother brick in the wall

We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher
Leave us kids alone

Hey
Teacher
Leave us kids alone

All in all you’re just a
‘Nother brick in the wall
All in all you’re just a
‘Nother brick in the wall

Wrong
Guess again
Wrong
Guess again

If you don’t eat yer meat
You can’t have any pudding
How can you have any pudding
If you don’t eat yer meat

You
Yes you behind the bikesheds
Stand still laddie

This Roman Meal Bakery thought you’d like to know

I don’t need no arms around me
And I don’t need no drugs to calm me
I have seen the writing on the wall
Don’t think I need anything at all
No
Don’t think I’ll need anything at all

All in all it was
All just bricks in the wall
All in all you were
All just bricks in the wall

All you people
There’s nothing you can say
To make me change my mind
Goodbye

  1. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Adullamite!!! Much of Korn's music is very hard for me to take, but I think they did a wonderful job on this.

  3. Believe it or not I've listened to plenty of Korn however not by choice. They were one of my sons favorites.
I'm going to go with Pink Floyd on this one but only because they are the ones I always heard sing it

  4. No contest, original is best even though they were all tripping when they made it.

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann!!! As I told Adullamite, much of Korn's music is very hard for me to take, but they have had a few that really caught by attention.
