I have been feeling kinda guilty about the last
[Come Monday…] posted here. For it was about a couple of different ways to properly cook a turkey, and turkey meat contains a lot of
[tryptophan].
In other words, I was inadvertently promoting lethargy. For tryptophan makes you sleepy, and now is not the time for sleeping with liberals trying to undo all of the accomplishments of the Bush administration. (LOL?)
So, to remedy the situation, I offer the following video. For if it doesn’t get parts of your body a-gigglin’ that you never knew were meant to jiggle, another drumstick is not going to do any more damage than has been already done.
I may have to come back and watch that video again AFTER I eat my dinner. No way you could listen to that and not at least tap a foot. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving
Yeah, that tune gets me a going every time I hear it. Be assured that it's not a pretty sight. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ann. I hope you and yours have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah! I love that song! Never had the pleasure of seeing the video though - thanks for that. Happy Thanksgiving :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Fish, just the thought of you shaking it cracks me up! :) Good song choice! Happy Thanksgiving, pally. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI was starting to wonder if I was going to find the official video to this song at all. I remembered seeing it somewhere soon after the song was released, but it was nowhere to be found on YouTube--not even with embedding disabled, which is the way far too many of them are. One would think that the record companies would want as much exposure as they could get to generate sales, but noooooooooooooo. Country videos are the worst of all! Anyway, I finally found embeddable copies on MTV and BET. I'm glad you like the song. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Bee!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it cracks me up, too. On the other hand, it mortifies my wife, which makes it even better. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lin!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the great comments regarding the man-boy's sagging. ::sigh:: I absolutely LOVE the idea of taking my latest artsy-fartsy thing and going to town on his undies.
But with my luck, it will backfire. I'll start a new trend. Happy Thanksgiving - have a great day! xx
Wooooo Whooo Whoooooo !!!
ReplyDeleteFishHawk you got me singin over here.
that's a great video and song.
To tell you the honest truth, I've never heard that song before nor the band. Of course I'm from a different era too. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog again. I will try to write a post explaining how our club can pay out the cash like they do. Thanks for asking!
Friends 4 Life!
Definitely a catchy tune, (and I agree it's hard to sit still to :o) Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by again, my dear Katherine!!! When my wife asked me how I would handle your situation, I said that he would be getting an atomic wedgy every time I saw his bloomers hanging out, but that might not work so well for you. On the other hand...
ReplyDeleteYeah, that is a great song, and I have never heard a steel guitar played like that before. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Mama ASID!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking up songs for my nephew and son (when we were still kinda, sorta speaking) exposed me to a lot of different kinds of music that I would normally not hear, and a lot of it I really liked--especially this one! I look forward to your post about your gas/energy club. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Eddie!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it, my dear Jen. I hope you and yours had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We sure did. Thanks for stopping by!!!
