Sites To See

This is the new version of FIVE FOR FRIDAY. As with the former, it is the SOLE purpose of this weekly series to call attention to sites that I think many would find most interesting—in one way or another. Please, go see for yourself.

  11. Oh my you really out did yourself this week. These are all great sites, I am aware of almost everyone of them.

I am making my last rounds today to insure that all of my favorite blogs are on my roll. That definitely includes you!!

I will be canceling all ads and leaving EC if drastic changes aren't announced by midnight the 27th.

I don;t make much money off of my site but I do some and there is a certain number in the book of Revelations that has me literally scared to death.

Someone with a G rated site could very easily choose that number to design an ad with. I would drop dead right where I stood if I woke up one morning and saw that number on my blog.

I don't care if people think I am a fanatic or even a nut case. I simply cannot take this chance and play around with things like that.

I hope you have a great weekend!
    Jackie:-)

  12. You and Tigger should really enjoy Wendy's Animal Talk, my dear Tricia. For she is an incredibly beautiful lady with a lot of love to share.

  14. I share in your disappointment over Entrecard, my dear Jackie. I think I am going to hang in there with them at least for a little while longer, but there has been something about the service that has been really bothering me for the past few months. Anyway, thanks for stopping by again, and for wanting to stay with me. I have just added your "The Painted Veil" to my Places of Interest on the sidebar.

  15. FishHawk, thank you for the link. I was particularly flattered that you chose my humble blog to lead your list... until I realized you listed them alphabetically. So now I'm pleased, not for the first time, that my blog name starts with an A :)

You apparently attempted to post a comment on one of my threads alerting me to the link, but your comment got caught by my spam-catcher, where I just found it. Even more annoying, now I've approved your comment, but it still doesn't show up. I need to send a rocket to the Akismet people to figure out the problem.

My apologies for the lack of response to your comment, and thank you again.

  16. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Kirk!!! A couple of years ago, the owner of a hard-core Christian blog on WordPress took great offense to me daring to just pose some questions, and he marked as a spammer. I thought the problem had been resolved, but evidently it still remains to a certain extent. I posted an article about it here: http://asthecrackerheadcrumbles.blogspot.com/2009/04/i-hate-wordpress-and-spam.html

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
