A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  2. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Becky!!! We reached the 80s for the first time this year a couple of days ago, and they are now calling for a high of only around 28 for this coming Tuesday (I think). Sigh.

  10. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen B.!!! Alas, when I went to add your wonderful "Getting to Know You" site to the list for future inclusion in the Sites To See series, which comes before being included in this series, I discovered that you have the hated word verification spam protection thingy employed. So, I will not be able to include it.

You might be surprised about how many more comments may be left (and additional friends made) if you disengage word verification. For back before my eyesight started going downhill, I looked upon word verification as a challenge when I was not in a big hurry to leave a comment, but it has become a nightmare to mess with now, which I have found to be the case with a great many in the blogosphere. As an alternative to combating spam, I have went with manual moderation of comments, which allows anyone to leave a comment, but only the ones I let through are actually published.

  13. You are most welcome, and thanks for stopping by, my dear Julie!!! Alas, Arlynda keeps insisting that I am not nearly as sharp as I want to believe I am, and after not realizing that you had changed the title to your more personal site until its turn to be included in this series came around, she just might have a point.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
