Bad, Ugly and Awful Ads

Since not everyone has been as appreciative of my efforts with the Good, Bad and Ugly Ads series as they should be, it seemed prudent to shake things up a bit from time to time.  Hence, Good, Great and Glorious Ads, as well as Bad, Ugly and Awful Ads.  Oh, and if these new approaches are still not to your complete and utter satisfaction, I would tell you what you can do with the point of your view if saying things like that did not now leave such a bitter taste in my mouth.  Therefore, be ye thankful!

UGLY

  3. I'm thinking that the people responsible for these ads should stay away from the product until they have come up with a "good" idea

  5. I think I'll need a couple or more bottles of Southern Comfort! I've got to put together a couple of flat-pack cupboards! So I'll need some comfort not only while doing so, but while thinking about doing so, and after doing so!! I hate flat-packs!

    Mañana!

  6. Hey, I do enjoy this series, in fact it's kind of cool, because like today again, this is the first time that I've seen any of these! So you keep me in the loop! The later when I see one that you posted, it's like...oh yeah was that the ugly or the bad or?

  7. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Even though Jack Daniels was by far my favoritist hard liquor choice back during my wilder days, I managed to guzzle a fair share of Southern Comfort on occasion. Looking back on it now, I do not understand why. For the thing I remember the most about Southern Comfort is just how much it burned all the way down. So, the next time you take a notion to trickle down to Tasmania, a bottle or three of the stuff might come in handy.

By the way, there is an Australian version of this kind of Southern Comfort commercial on YouTube. I was going to include it as a "good" for a Good, Bad and Ugly edition, but Southern Comfort had the embedding function disabled for some reason. Yeah, Ann may be on to something.

  9. I've never been a lover of Southern Comfort, Jerry - at most I probably would have had three in my whole life...at most. I prefer Scotch or dark rum; not that I drink much of them anymore, either!

    And I wasn't a bourbon drinker.

I don't drink much at all any more; just once in a blue moon. It must be a sign of old age..it can't be wisdom! ;)

I let my hair down on Saturday night, though...I had one beer and then a couple of red wines over dinner with friends! Wow! The lady went wild...not! lol

I might have to brighten things up about the place!!

  10. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lee!!! Well, as far as I am concerned, the only wine worth drinking is Mad Dog 20/20! (LOL?)
