TFT: Soundgarden

Black Hole Sun
Soundgarden
In my eyes
Indisposed
In disguise
As no one knows
Hides the face
Lies the snake
The sun
In my disgrace
Boiling heat
Summer stench
'Neath the black
The sky looks dead
Call my name
Through the cream
And I'll hear you
Scream again

Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come
Won’t you come

Stuttering
Cold and damp
Steal the warm wind
Tired friend
Times are gone
For honest men
And sometimes
Far too long
For snakes
In my shoes
A walking sleep
And my youth
I pray to keep
Heaven send
Hell away
No one sings
Like you
Anymore

Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come
Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun

Hang my head
Drown my fear
‘Til you all just
Disappear

Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come
Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Black hole sun
Black hole sun
Won’t you come
Won’t you come

Fell On Black Days
Soundgarden
Whatsoever I've feared has
Come to life
Whatsoever I've fought off
Became my life
Just when everyday
Seemed to greet me
With a smile
Sunspots have faded
And now I'm doing time
Now I’m doing time

‘Cause I fell on
Black days
Fell on
Black days
Black days

Whomsoever I've cured
I've sickened now
Whomsoever I've cradled
I've put you down
Search my soul
They say
But I can't
See it in the night
I'm only faking
When I get it right
When I get it right

‘Cause I fell on
Black days
I fell on
Black days

I want to know
That this could be my fate
I want to know
That this could be my fate

What you wanted to see good
Has made you blind
And what you wanted to be yours
You made it mine
So don't you lock up something
That you wanted to see fly
Hands are for shaking
Not tying
Not tying

Sure don't mind a change
Sure don't mind a change
Yeah sure don’t mind
Sure don't mind a change
Sure don’t mind a change

‘Cause I fell on
Black days
Fell on
Black days
I want to know
That this could be my fate
I want to know
This this could be my fate
I want to know
That this could be my fate
I want to know
This this could be my
Be my fate

Sure don’t mind a change

  2. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ryan!!! "Black Hole Sun" had a profound impact upon me, as did several other songs from the grunge age.

  3. The second one was almost listenable....

  4. Nothing I would listen to twice - actually didn't listen in the entirety - first was boring beyond belief with a very disturbingly ugly video and the second just seemed to drone on and on.....Oops, wait, what? Yeah, I'm awake, I'm awake...

  6. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! Yeah, it takes a sensitive soul to appreciate music like this.

  7. I have to agree with Grace on the first video. Kind of freaked me out and I had to shut it off and couldn't bring myself to watch the second one
