Back during my childhood, our parents would often load
up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive
around where we lived. Even though we
were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is
why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series
revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again. The link below the image is to the site
itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

I really enjoy taking Sunday drives with you (happy you're back again) and especially when we bring the dogs too!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost Thanksgiving time again, and there's that smoke blackened turkey! We'll be doing it again this year, of course. The BBQ turkey is always a guessing game. Will it be done early, late, never and have to go in the already full oven, be overdone and dry? But it's a family tradition and my job to figure out how to get everything else to come out right around that @#$% turkey. And OH, the smoky gravy is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGiving thanks to you for another featuring of my blog.
Linda
Looks like this post went to the dogs. Duke approves.
ReplyDeleteI hope my turkey doesn't look like that one in the picture
What's with all the dogs on this drive? Makes me wanna hang my head out the window and let my ears flap in the breeze.
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! I hope you and Arlynda had a nice weekend, Jerry...and may your coming week be even better!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Be assured that I really appreciate you being much better behaved than Ann and Lin.
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Linda!!! Alas, I have seen several turkeys looking like that over the years, but none of them were meant to be smoked.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Ann!!! Duke wouldn't mind you and Wade giving deep-fried turkey a try.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lin!!! Just watch for excessive drooling--okay?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! I got a bellyful of meatloaf and smashed taters for my birthday. BEST PRESENT EVER!
