Trib Updates

This is a weekly series that will include a brief summary of the latest articles that have been published on The Tribulation Times Herald-Exhorter.  Hopefully, this will encourage you to go check out some truly outstanding articles that have been published by a number of truly outstanding authors.  Moreover, I hope this will also encourage you to want to become a contributing member/author, as well.  The “Hear Ye!  Hear Ye!” site explanation near the top of the side-bar should answer many of your questions.  Yes, this series also included an “SOS! (Spam On Saturdays)”  segment before, but it just wasn’t working for me.  Therefore, that will be replaced by a republishing of one of the Trib articles.

[Foolin’ Myself] has a video and the lyrics for Styx’s Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man).

[Learning To Fly] contains a video and the lyrics for Pink Floyd’s Learning To Fly.

[ESPN Additions] provides us with some insight on what makes Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic such a powerful morning show team.

[WhiteHeart Wednesday] has a video and the lyrics for Excuse Me, Forgive Me.

[Back Online] contains the same article that was first published here on AsTheCrackerhead Chronicles.

[WhiteHeart Wednesday (Belated)] has a video and the lyrics for Fall On Me.

[ESPN Additions] shows a good way to keep Stone Cold Steve Austin awake.

[WhiteHeart Wednesday] contains a video and the lyrics for Fashion Fades.

[Even In This Storm] has a video and the lyrics for Casting Crowns’ Praise You In The Storm.

That address by President Obama was generally considered something great in the eyes of this world.  For he spoke as a parent grieving over the loss of so many who had their whole lives ahead of them.

On the other hand, in doing so he did something awful.  For he made it sound like it was the end of their existences.

No, this is not meant to take another shot at him for not really being a “Christian.”  For the way he was looking at the [Sandy Hook School massacre] is the way the vast majority of those in the Christian community look at it.

Yes, it is a very natural reaction, and the slaughter of innocents is indeed a great tragedy.  Nonetheless, we should be grieving over those left behind in the aftermath—not over those who no longer have to face anymore suffering in this world.

It would be different, of course, if there was a question of whether or not the souls of those slain children will be welcome to spend all of eternity with our Heavenly Father in His Kingdom of Heaven as heirs to all that is His in glory.  Be assured that there is not.  For our Heavenly Father does not delight in the eternal damnation of anyone [Ezekiel 18:32], and He is most certainly not going to reject those who appear to have not fulfilled all of the requirements of the various churches, which are mostly nothing more than rules made up by people without any authority to impose them [Matthew 19:14].

No, it was not only small children who were slain, but again, our Heavenly Father does not delight in the eternal damnation of anyone.  Therefore, we can have complete confidence in the absolute truth of the matter truly being that everyone who physically dies has been given plenty of opportunities to truly repent of their sins and accept Christ Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior beforehand [Romans 1:18-20].

Alas, snakes do like to come out from their holes in the wake of great tragedies.  For here is the former pastor of a very prominent Southern Baptist church making it sound like we really can remove the Lord God Almighty from our schools and prevent Him from reaching the hearts and minds of our children.

Although, I must admit that I am in full agreement with Rev. Huckabee on the matter of gun control legislation.  For making it harder for those who should have a right to bear arms will not keep them out of the hands of those who should not.

Please note the distinction between those who should have a right to bear arms and those who should not.  For instead of seeking to pass a bunch of new laws, we should be doing all that we can to truly enforce the laws restricting firearm possession that already exist.  After all, was it not already illegal for a mentally-ill person to possess a firearm?  What about felons, and yet, do not hundreds (if not thousands) of them have a piece stuffed in their waistband at this very minute?

Yeah, if there were no firearms to even legally possess in this country, no felon could illegally possess one, but what nation in this world can honestly boast about their not being any firearms in the hands of the general population within their borders?  Besides, where there is a will, there is a way…

  1. I do agree with you that we should enforce the laws that we already have, and even with that, those who want guns will get them anyway!

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Janet!!! I sure hope nothing drastic comes from this. For knee-jerking politicians can cause a lot of damage, and I know of A LOT of people who are looking for as excuse to start defending their way of life in a very literal sense.
