TFT: George Harrison

Not every song that will be featured here will be what is generally considered as being “Christian” in the eyes of this world.  For some will be anguished cries from the pit of despair, and others will be quite obviously ferverent rants of rebellion.  Nonetheless, be assured that they will all be of our Heavenly Father (in one way or another) and I hope that you have been given ears to hear the message.

What Is Life
George Harrison
What I feel
I can’t say
But my love is there for you
Any time of day
But if it’s not love
That you need
Then I’ll try my best
To make everything succeed

Tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
By my side

What I know
I can do
If I give my love now
To everyone like you
But if it’s not love
That you need
Then I’ll try my best
To make everything succeed

Tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
By my side
Tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
By my side

What I feel
I can’t say
But my love is there for you
Any time of day
But if it’s not love
That you need
Then I’ll try my best
To make everything succeed

Tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
By my side
Oh tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
By my side
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you
 By my side
Oh tell me
What is my life
Without your love
Tell me
Who am I
Without you

Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)
George Harrison
Give me love
Give me love
Give me
Peace on Earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me
Free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope
With this
Heavy load
Trying to
Touch and reach you
With
Heart and soul

Ommmmmmm
M m m
My
Lord

Please
Take hold of my hand
That I might
Understand you
Won’t you please
Oh won’t you

Give me love
Give me love
Give me
Peace on Earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me
Free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope
With this
Heavy load
Trying to
Touch and reach you
With
Heart and soul

Ommmmmmm
M m m
My
Lord

Won’t
You
Please
Won’t you

Give me love
Give me love
Give me
Peace on Earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me
Free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope
With this
Heavy load
Trying to
Touch and reach you
With
Heart and soul
Give me love
Give me love
Give me
Peace on Earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me
Free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope
With this
Heavy load
Trying to
Touch and reach you
With
Heart
And soul
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
My
Lord

  1. Jings almost music!
George was good but went in for some strange stuff later on. He was at his best with the Beatles but on his own produces some rather tame stuff.
    His eastern mysticism demented him.

  2. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Adullamite!!! Speaking of demented, I have something scheduled for Thursday that both you and Grace will undoubtedly love (or not).

  3. Not a fan so I didn't listen - I have a dreadful headache today and while George Harrison is hardly what one would call a "rocker" I think I'll opt for quiet anyway...Cheers!

  4. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Grace!!! When your head gets to feeling better, I think you might pleasantly remember "What Is Life," and if you don't think it really rocks, you really are as bad off as Adullamite. (Sorry.)

  6. OK, I listened to it and no it doesn't rock - it's annoying...it's wussy. whiny - do you not know what rock is? Like Chuck Berry said "Gotta have a back beat..." Oh you young 'uns...
