The Authors (and figments) of Wayrift thank you so much for featuring our site on your list! The picture you chose was just great. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or do we seem to be a strange one amongst all these other great blogs? *laugh* Again, appreciate your consideration for a blog/webcomic.
You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Aywren!!! Be assured that your Wayrift Comics more than holds it own.
ReplyDeleteThat muddy road picture...man that brings back some memories of a few camping trips from years ago. Painful ones. lol

ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Theresa!!! Speaking of brilliant, your jewelry certainly is.
ReplyDeleteP.S.: Thank you also for wanting to see the other sites. For that is what this is all about.
I hope I don't offend with the question -- I guess I should have braved to ask the first comment round. I'm curious as to why Wayrift was chosen as a highlight on a Christian blog -- it's not always typical for a fantasy type comic/manga (we can be sadly misunderstood due to the ideas of the genre).
ReplyDeleteMy co-creator and I are both Christians and do our best to adhere to our beliefs in our writing, art and in welcoming the internet community to our comic. So, again, it's not meant to be a rude question (I don't always know how sensitive individuals are), but more a curious one!
Thank you again for the feature. :)
Oh no, my dear Aywren, your question didn't offend at all. That is, at least not me. For if you notice in the disclaimer at the top of each Sites To See post, you will see that it says "in one way or another," and I have had sites that are obvious demonically inspired along side those who are obvious not.
ReplyDeleteHaving said all that, I just felt like those who are a fan of manga might find your comics to be very interesting, but I didn't pay attention to what was really going on there. Please forgive me for that, and I am very glad to hear that you and your partner are Christians.
Thank you for answering my curiosity, Fishhawk! It's nice to see that you pull from a variety of sites for your highlights. I'll be looking forward to checking future highlights out. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, my dear Aywren!!! I hope you find some that will be peak your interest.

For Grayson, our ferocious 6-pound Yorkie, would be after you immediately. Of course, with you appearing to be almost as big as he is, you might not have all that much to worry about.
