A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and I after Sunday morning church services for a leasurely drive around where we lived. Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.

  1. Thank you for including my link. I bet you had to like one of nature's joys, the cardinal :) in today's post. What a beautiful creature, yes!

    Have a lovely weekend.

  2. Hi! Your Christian Carders image/link don't seem to be working - could you take a peek at the code when you get a chance? Let me know if you need help!

  3. I enjoy your blog.
We love our Sunday drives, which, by the way, aren't always on Sunday. We generally get in the truck and drive, hitting gravel roads. The GPS is sometimes a lifesaver!

  4. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Jafabrit!!! Yes, I loved the pics of the cardinal, and I am a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, as well.

The Arizona Cardinals football team? Not so much.

  5. I don't know what is going on with the Christian Carders link, my dear Jennifer. I have repasted the html code provided on your page several times. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the code runs into a badge on the side?

  6. Thank you so very much, my dear Gena!!! I've never had any experience with a GPS unit, but I've heard some horror stories about the directions given being sometimes woefully out of date. I hope you have a good service.
