Inside Out
WhiteHeart

Hey
Hey
Hey Mr. Nice Guy
I don’t know your name
You’ve been hanging around for so long
At my place
I can see the rumblings
In the sky
There goes the setting sun
It’s crawling back again to find me
Get it out of my mind

Ooh I wanna feel
No I wanna dream
I wanna live on the inside
Ooh I gotta breathe
I gotta pray
I wanna heal on the inside

You ain’t got me fooled
Am I a fool?
I keep playing along
I know a place
Not far away
Where I can be strong
Grass is greener
Oh it’s nice
On the other side
You know that’s a lie
Let me go
Let me be
Help me see
I wanna fly

Ooh I wanna feel
No I wanna dream
I wanna live on the inside
Oh I gotta breathe
Gotta pray
I want to heal on the inside

I wanna feel

I wanna feel
Oh I wanna dream
I wanna live on the inside
Gotta breathe
Gotta pray
I wanna heal on the inside
On the inside

Ooh I wanna feel
No I wanna dream
I wanna live on the inside
Oh I gotta breathe
Gotta pray
I wanna heal on the inside
I wanna feel
No I wanna dream
I wanna live on the inside
I gotta breathe
Gotta pray
I wanna heal on the inside

Inside

  1. "We all want to heal, to feel, to dream," Eleanor says. "And beyond this desire is the need, and beyond the need is finding our way, finding the right way, that direction, the road, the path, the steps, and we climb them. I am healed, I feel, I keep dreaming."

  2. Keep reaching, my dear Lady Eleanor. You and Sir Geoff are closer than you think. Thank you for stopping by!!!

By the way, isn't about time for some fresh mangos??? Surely there are some in season somewhere within your reach.

  3. Ah yes, the mangoes .... We are hoping for a visit from Will Amante soon, the mysterious visitor from afar who brings us the mangoes. He's definitely due to stop by.

Almost Full Moon as I write this, Sir FishHawk. Eleanor is outside with the moondust, but she gives her very best regards. You're one of her favorites, you know. You and The Mad Celt. And as he's out of town, I guess that makes you Number One!

"Cheers, to our friend, Sir FishHawk," Eleanor just shouted my direction.

  4. fishhawk...you featured one of my favorite bands. It was my joy to work as a "lead counselor" for those who answered the altar call at the end of these guy's concerts whenever they played Fort Wayne, IN. They actually got involved with people who came forward...talked to them, prayed with them, loved on them. It was nice to see (other bands were not so...committed or caring, sadly). These guys were top notch.
    Love this blog!

  5. I first fell in love with this band after hearing "The Flame Passes On" on a contemporary Christian music radio station out of Springfield, MO soon after our Heavenly Father became real to me back in 1993. Like so many other things that were becoming known to me for the first time, I'd never even heard of contemporary Christian music before--let alone dreamed that there could be such a band like WhiteHeart out there.

To be honest, "Inside Out" is not one my favorite songs of theirs music-wise, but I can certainly relate to the lyrics. For our Heavenly Father has shown me His heart to a very great extent, and I deperately want to truly be like Him.

Thank you so very much for telling about your experiences with the band, my dear Jim. I hope to hear more about whatever you would like to comment on in the future.
