The lovely Marlo Boux tagged me for this MeMe; and I must admit that I have been struggling with what to include. For “I” do not find anything quirky about myself. Hence: the delay; but after hearing our Heavenly Father speak unto me in a voice that sounded way too much like Joe Pesci in the Lethal Weapon movies for my comfort (“Whatever”): I am compelled to proceed with this endeavor forthwith (TIC).
The rules for this MeMe are: (1) Link to the person that tagged you. (2) Post the rules on your blog. (3) Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself. (4) Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs. (5) Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
(1) The Guess Who is one of my all-time favorite bands. I especially like: No Time, Hand Me Down World, No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature, Share The Land, Clap For The Wolfman and American Woman.
(2) I absolutely hate feet—both my own and most certainly those of others.
(3) I absolutely love to stare at open fires and running streams.
(4) I have become obsessed with HBO’s “The Wire”; and I resist all cures compulsively.
(5) I can’t wait for the opening of each football season (FOOTBALL—not futbol; but then I seldom watch as much as I could.
(6) I am of the opinion (a most humble one—mind you) that it would be immensely more clever to add “TIC” (Tongue-In-Cheek) unto messages that might be misconstrued than “LOL” (Laugh-Out-Loud).
Awww...Thanks a lot Fishawk! You've found my "hiding spot"! ;)
ReplyDeleteActually this should be kind of fun, a break from my usual "serious" posts!
Haha, awesome - thanks for playing Fishhawk. Did you know that Clap for the Wolfman is used in a 'werewolf Halloween decoration' that sings and dances? My dad actually earns royalties off the sales as he co-wrote the song. Fun post :) Can't wait to read more from the people you tagged.
ReplyDeleteAhh yes, the memories. For I never got to listen unto Wolfman Jack on that outlaw radio station down Mexico way; but I loved to watch him on the "Midnight Special" in the early 80's.
ReplyDeleteI just finished my "Quirky Facts" Meme :)

I never heard of one either until I started blogging; and to be honest about it: I'm always rather reluctatnt to participate in one. For I really don't like attracting attention unto myself in this way; but after it's all said and done: I'm glad about playing along.
