There is Always Time
There is always time
To be born
To be born-again
To start a new life
To start a new career
To turn the page
To turn the corner
To start a new chapter
To laugh
To love
To be happy
To be healthy
To dream big dreams
To accomplish great goals
To reach for the stars
To chase after the sun
To romp in tall grasses
To wrestle squirrels for nuts
To ride fast horses
To drive faster cars
To sail mighty oceans
To climb high mountains
To seize the day
To do the right thing
To fight the good fight
To be all that you want to be
Yes
There is always time
Until there is not

  1. I agree with you! So often we use our age as an excuse. I am too old to take up horse back riding, ballet, college whatever. You are never too old to live your life and in fact that is exactly what you should be doing

  2. What a lovely reassuring poem. Thank you. I have seen that picture around several times lately-- beginning to think it's a sign of some kind I'm supposed to be aware of.

  4. Thanks for stopping by, my dear MLM!!! Yes, all who still can should not stop wanting to enrich their lives--especially in regards to trying to be of help unto others. Oh, and be assured that I am seldom truly satisfied with the results of my day, which is actually much to my chagrin.

  6. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Julie!!! Methinks you were being sarcastic, but I do know of one thing that you could be doing that will result in you not looking at anything in the same way again. That is, unless you find it unacceptable, of course.

  14. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! Well, I haven't been able to sleep for longer than a couple of hours at a time the past three weeks. So, I have plenty of time with no energy to do anything with it.

  15. That's no good, Jerry...I hope things pick up for you very soon. You need sleep! Take care.

  16. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Lee!!! It has been years since I hace been allowed to sleep for more than 3-4 hours at a time because of an issue with my right keg. A different issue is now only allowing for a little more than hours at a time at best, and it is starting to really get to me. Hey, I even asked Arlynda to get me an appointment with here general/family doctor! He's another blithering idiot, but I am hopeful of him being able to at least refer me to someone who might be able to help me this time.
