A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  1. Wow, we both posted about the same time! It's still actually Saturday but I added the Sunday edition because I know most bloggers are sleeping or whatever right now! You great blogs here have now pushed me to go make that bowl of cereal....since I can't reach into the computer! I'm excited to see what Tess as for us!

  2. Thanks for stopping by, my dear Karen!!! Well, that helps to explain what the deal is with you so often publishing things on wrong days--YOU JUST PLAIN CAN'T TELL TIME! That is, unless you live on a city block that doesn't recognize Daylight Savings Time, it is the same there as it is here, and if you would check the time stamp on the comment you left here, it says that it was left at 12:48 AM, SUNDAY! (LOL?)

  4. All well and good Jerry but as they saying goes, " You can't go home again". If you peruse the bulk of my right column links you'll find a plethora of missing folks. They are now but mere tombstones of great bloggers of old.

  6. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Demeur!!! Yeah, just in the amount of time between when a site is included in a Sites To See to when it is time for it here, which currently running around 10 months, it would not be at all unusual to find 2-3 already shut down.

Since the Blogger spam filter has been found sorely lacking lately, I will start moderating comments. Be assured that I am only interested in deleting spam. So, if you feel a need to take me to task over something—even anonymously, go ahead and let 'er rip, and I will publish it as soon as I can.
