A Sunday Drive

Back during my childhood, our parents would often load up my brother and me after Sunday morning church services for a leisurely drive around where we lived.  Even though we were seeing mostly familiar sights, it was still good to see them, and this is why “A Sunday Drive” sounded about right for the name of a weekly series revisiting familiar sites that are well worth seeing again and again.  The link below the image is to the site itself, and the image is linked to the post it was first included in here.

  11. Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Ryan!!! Yes, it sure is, and I think that you would feel right at home up there. For their place is just south of the Canadian border in the state of Vermont, and one of the friendliest towns I've ever been to is located not very far from them. It is St. Albans, and while I was still trucking all over the place, I went there to pick-up a load of paper rolls. Where the friendly part really shown through was when I got to the town on a Saturday, and at least three different carloads of people (there was a maple syrup festival going on) stopped by where I was parked to see if I needed anything while I waited for the plant to open on Monday. No, not even down home in the south has that ever happened to me.

  14. Thanks for the ad, Jerry! I have to admit, though, most of my Ludosomnus posts are just about me hashing through theological ideas and concepts and my ideas aren't always the most lucid in presentation - but hey, I'm always glad for visitors.

  15. You are most welcome, and thanks for being so considerate, my dear Rob!!! One of the most subtle traps is to get too complacent, and anything that challenges us to truly seek our Heavenly Father's face for the answers to questions that we often do not want to ask is a very good thing.
