When I was a kid - ear...Jerry - thank you so much. When I was a kid - early / mid sixties we used to do the same. . . Sunday drives. Once we ranged very, very far and we had ice cream at a place that seemed to be a hundred miles from home. A half-dozen or so years later, on my first day of high school, our bus drove right past king kone. It was about 6 miles from our house on a side road that we'd never have had any reason to travel.
