Beat of a Different Drum
WhiteHeart
Jump!

Jump!

There’s a pulse that pounding
An air surrounding the streets
The beat
It’s a rushing wind
That flows within it’s the beat
The beat

Oh oh
Oh oh

Everywhere you turn
There are hearts that burn with the beat
The beat
And the movement grows
You can tell who knows the beat
The beat

Oh oh
Oh oh
Hear the beat

It is a timeless message of His love
Oh oh
Oh yeah
It’s the voice of the Holy One
Listen
Listen
The beat of a different drum!

There’s a new day dawning
For those who belong to the beat
The beat
We’re not gonna hide
We’ll march with pride to the beat
The beat

Oh oh
Oh oh
Hear the beat

Oh oh
Oh oh
Move to the beat

It’s not the music that the band is playing
Hear the message that the Father’s saying
Listen to the heart of all creation
It’s beating out the song of our salvation

It’s a loser’s game
If you feel ashamed of the beat
The beat
His word is out
You can never doubt the beat
The beat
Don’t you feel the urge
The mighty surge of the beat
The beat
Hold the banner high
We will live and die for the beat
The beat

Oh oh
Oh oh
The beat

Oh oh
Oh oh
The beat of a different drum!

Oh oh
The beat of a different drum!

Oh oh
Oh oh
The beat of a different drum!

I’ll Meet You There
WhiteHeart

I feel the chill of Autumn's wind
Seasons changing once again
And every moment's best
Still one moment less
We spend
Together my friend

I can't hold back these tears in my eyes
This time I won't even try
For time has come and gone
Now we must move on
I'll admit I don't know why

Now we must say good-bye
To find our road ahead
Destiny leads us on to another place
But I'll meet you there someday

We chase the future into past
Only to find it never lasts
And by the time it's gone
The pain is so strong
In the end
But listen my friend

Although we've lost what was before
Forever will bring us the chance once more
And in that time we'll see
What was meant to be
A special moment to cherish for all of our lives
And we'll know in time

Why we must say good-bye
To find our road ahead
Destiny leads us on to another place
But I'll meet you there
From the lives we all leave behind
We find there's much more ahead
The Father will lead us on to a better place
And I'll meet you there someday
I'll meet you there someday
I'll meet you there someday

Fashion Fades
WhiteHeart

If you don't look
Like the picture in a book
You're an outcast

Life's so hard
You're wearing out your credit card
'Cuz styles keep changing so fast

Fashion fades
Things will change
But something stronger
Will remain
The love of Jesus
Stays the same
So where you will be
When the fashion fades

Bell-bottomed jeans
And everchanging mood rings
Once made sense

For Miami Vice
You would have paid most any price
But now pastels are past tense

Fashion fades
Things will change
But something stronger
Will remain
The love of Jesus
Stays the same
So where you will be
When the fashion fades

All those things you had to buy
Special ordered through the mail
Things you thought would change your life
Are the highlights of somebody's yard sale

Fashion fades
Things will change
But something stronger
Will remain
The love of Jesus
Stays the same
Where will you be
When fashion fades

When fashion fades

It’s gonna go
Fashion fades

...And Taking Names

Well, I suppose it would be more accurate to say, “And Giving Names.” For the implications of “taking” names is just the opposite of what is intended, but what do you expect from a reprobate?

Alas, be assured that I am well aware of the possible ramifications from the acceptance of such an award. For a debate has been raging in my head since first receiving notice of the award, and to be perfectly honest about it, I am not real sure of which side is saying what.

Yes, it is true that I was delivered out of the constant use of such language. In fact, nary a “cuss” word has passed from these lips of mine since I received an instantaneous cleansing of a profoundly foul mouth. Nonetheless, I also know that this removal of something that could get in the way of what our Heavenly Father wants me to say had much more to do with giving me personal experience with what He can do than with the removal of something that He finds highly offensive about myself.

Subsequently, it all comes down unto it being a matter of hypocrisy unto me. For I do consider it a great honor to receive such an award from someone I hold in the highest of esteem, and I do hold [The Natural State Hawg] in the highest of esteem.

Yes, I am being serious. For I consider the content of his blog to be both informative and entertaining, and it is in this respect that I would like to pass this award unto others I also hold in the highest of esteem. Hopefully, they will abide by the wishes of [MammaDawg], and not be as asinine about it as I am being.

Therefore, and without further ado, I would like the following to be hereby acknowledged and widely known as Kick Ass Bloggers:

The Sweet & Sour Wall of China

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! {Romans 10:13-15 KJV}

I must admit that I am rather shocked at how quickly the furor over [Rev. Franklin Graham’s remarks] about Christian evangelistic activities in China during the Olympics has died down. For it is not like The Great Commission{1} has expired, and it does form the basis for one of the fundamental tenets that [Christian Evangelicalism] is founded upon—right?

No, I am not at all suggesting that Rev. Franklin Graham is wrong about the issue. For our Heavenly Father’s is well able to accomplish all that He wants to do{2}, and His Holy Spirit (who doesn’t need any help from any of us{3}) is hard at work in China—be assured{4}.

The deal is, however, that Evangelicals generally refuse to accept Romans 10:13-15 as being rhetorical. For they have been led to believe that no one can come to Christ unless one of His followers lead them.

Therefore, does this mean that the Christian Evangelical Movement has lost most of its feverent zeal since all is so quiet on the Chinese Olympic Front? For I cannot imagine there not being howls of protests coming from pulpits far and wide over something like this in years past, or is it that I just haven’t been listening?

Convertibles
WhiteHeart

Hey, are you ready to go?
Got the top turned down on my GTO
Come on, let’s all jump in
Gonna take this car for a little spin
Oh, hear the motor hum
Gonna ride it ‘til the end of this summers sun

Wind blowin’ through my hair
The sky is blue, I haven’t got a care
Feel so good and free
Just like God is sittin’ next to me
Oh, don’t you fell it too?
You gotta know that it really must be true

God made convertibles
Oh the Son is shinin’ here
You can see it pretty clear
God made convertibles
As the High and Mighty’s known
He’s not a manufacturer
God made convertibles
As I put the pedal down
Let it give you a roll

Hey, it’s an open road
Got this tune cranked up on my radio
The whole world has got the song
They just can’t help but to sing along
Oh, can’t hold it in
Be like this top ‘cause they’re opened up to Him

God made convertibles
Oh the Son is shinin’ here
You can see it pretty clear
God made convertibles
As the High and Mighty’s known
He’s not a manufacturer
Lemonade and apple pie
Gotta know the reason why
God made convertibles
As you the pedal down
Let you leave it on the road

God made convertibles
Oh the Son is shinin’ here
You can see it very clear
God made convertibles
As the High and Mighty’s known
He’s not a manufacturer
God made convertibles
Lemonade and apple pie
You gotta know the reason why
As you put the pedal down
Let you leave it on the road

God made convertibles
God made convertibles
Jump on in
Start it up
Drop the top and feel His love
God made convertibles
God made convertibles
God made convertibles
God made convertibles
God made convertibles

Some More Holocaust Hypocrisy

It is hard to imagine that there could be some people in this day and age who would try to deny that the Holocaust took place—even naturally speaking. For I know that photos can be faked, and testimony falsified, but there is just too much evidence out there for it to all be a lie. Yet, some still insist otherwise.
